Meadowview Cottage was built in the early 19th
century as farm cottages from local golden
sandstone, it is now a listed building and offers
superb views from the cottage towards the
Lammermuir Hills (see below).

Alva Cottage was built c1880 and is a detached
3 bedroom cottage in a quiet village location with
excellent walks along the river Tweed.
to just enjoy the beautiful beaches, historic country
houses, and castles in the area. Both have
accommodation for up to 5 people, offering a mix
of double and single beds. Alva has a 3rd ground
floor bedroom and bathroom and an excellent
pub/restaurant close by; whilst Meadowview has
superb views.
