About Our Cottages
Last Minute Offers
Built in the early 19th century as farm cottages from local
sandstone. Now a listed building; it offers 2 bedrooms &
superb views from the cottage towards the Lammermuir Hills
in a peaceful rural setting.
Built c1880, Alva is a detached 3 bedroom cottage in a quiet
village location with excellent walks along the river Tweed &
country park. It has a ground floor bedroom/bathroom, excellent
pub/restaurant nearby and easy access to the coast and
shops in Berwick.

Our cottages are not offered through any holiday agencies, prices from £300/week with no hidden extras. Both are ideal for couples and families.
We offer a choice of tranquil rural and peaceful village locations near Duns, and in the village of Paxton, Berwickshire, Scotland.
Both are ideal for families and couples seeking a peaceful holiday, short break, outdoor activities or to just enjoy the beautiful beaches, historic country houses and castles in the Scottish Borders and Northumberland.
Each cottage has accommodation for up to 5 people, offering a mix of double and single beds. The cottages are warm and well furnished; with full central heating and an open fire if required. Although your holiday is self catering; heating, electricity, quality bed linen, towels; plus coal and logs for the first evening are all included in the price.
Sorry, the cottages are strictly no smoking due to Fire regulations and we are unable to accommodate pets.
